The same C–E–G–E quarter-note figure plays identically in every one of the first four bars — then bars 5-6 introduce a single, gentle variation (D–F–A–F, one step up), before bars 7-8 return home. Maximum predictability is the whole point. Sustained C major strings underneath provide warmth without harmonic surprises.
