Spring Prelude

A D major Allegro for violin and strings at 132 BPM. The I-V-IV-I progression (D–A–G–D) is the simplest, most direct harmonic statement in Western music — three chords that feel inevitable, that complete each other without ambiguity. The violin runs a scale passage in bar 5 (D4 to D5, every eighth note) before jumping to peak A5 in bar 6 — a two-octave rise that catches the ear as the harmonic equivalent of a door thrown open. The string trio (violins + viola simulated by strings) holds each chord as a sustained whole note, providing harmonic ground without competing with the melody. Best for bright, energetic work sessions, or any moment that needs forward propulsion.
